John Heagle, chair of the Gospel Nonviolence Working Group of the Association of US Catholic Priests, writes in the June 8, 2022 online issue of the National Catholic Reporter asking Could a new eucharistic prayer help reclaim the nonviolent Christ? Heagle references many prophets of peace and highlights "the prophetic courage of one solitary man": Ben Salmon and calls on us all to celebrate Ben's truism that there is no such thing as a just war.

Professor Michael J. Baxter presented a public lecture on Ben Salmon on the evening of November 11, 2020.
